Mobile phone and computer when traveling to high-risk countries
You who are borrowing IT equipment must do the following:
1. Order equipment
To order equipment for loan, you must fill out the form at least 4 weeks in advance.

2. The IT department activates the MFA token (code chip)
The IT department activates a code chip for use when logging in to the computer. This is done together with the user. See instructions - point 5 and 6A(in Norwegian).

4. Mobile phone
The phone is configured in advance and the TeliaApp is installed.
Start up the phone. It is not possible to define connections with your own username and password. The phone is used for calls and possibly network sharing for Chromebooks and Internet.

Launch the Telia app, which is already defined on the phone. Here you can check consumption and costs
Connection to wireless network when traveling
If the use of mobile network is not possible or is very expensive, you need to choose wireless network. If it is available, choose a wireless network that requires a username and/or your own verification code and not one that is completely open.

Find the desired local network.

Return of equipment
The IT equipment is delivered immediately to the IT service upon return to Norway. The equipment must not be connected to a network in Norway upon arrival.
