Travel to high-risk countries - routines for lending and use of IT-equipment

At USN, employees and students need to travel. This often means that you take data with you on mobile devices and use services and networks that are not managed by USN. In order to prevent data from going astray during a trip, one must therefore assess the risk.

Employees who travel to high-risk countries must use dedicated IT equipment set up for the purpose and not ordinary IT equipment used in the daily work at USN.

When traveling to high-risk countries, you should no take IT-equipment that you use on a daily basis with you.

When traveling to risk countries, it is not recommended to take IT-equipment that you use on a daily basis with you.

NB! Remember to order IT-equipment at least 4 weeks before departure.

Check coverage and from Telia abroad (in Norwegian).
