USN-card

Your USN-card will give you access to campus outside of business hours, book loans at the library, and printing at all printers at USN.

Where do i get my USN-card?

You can get your USN card at the service center at your campus.

Upload your photo
  1. If you haven't done so already, activate your user account on account.usn.no
  2. Activate MFA on your USN account.
  3. Please wait about one hour after activating your account before you proceed
  4. Go to account.usn.no and select My account.
  5. Log in with Feide and select Upload or change picture.
  6. There are the following requirements for the image:
    * The image must be in portrait orientation.
    * The image must show the entire head, and the head should fill most of the image.
    * The photo should be taken from the front, and against a light background.​​​​​​​
  7. Follow the instructions on the image upload page.

 

 

Change PIN-code
  1. Go to account.usn.no and select My account.
  2. Log in with Feide and select Create or change PIN code
  3. Enter the code in the 4 fields and click Save PIN.

Unfortunately this is not yet available at Campus Kongsberg.

In Bø, Notodden, Porsgrunn, Rauland, Ringerike and Vestfold the PIN is ready to use after a few minutes. 

In Drammen the PIN is ready to be used the day after you changed it. If you need to change the immediately, you must contact Securitas located in the reseption. You should also change the PIN at account.usn.no afterwards.

NB! When activating a USN user account, you should wait about an hour before setting your PIN code. If you set your PIN code before the system has had time to create your user information in the access control system (controls campus doors), the PIN code cannot be matched to the correct person.
