EDUC Receives Renewed Funding from the European Commission
The European university alliance European Digital UniverCity (EDUC), of which USN is one of eight member universities, has once again received funding through the European Commission’s European Universities initiative. Following previous grants in 2019 and 2023, EDUC is now receiving funding for the third time.

Would you like to explore one of the world’s most widely spoken languages, but are not quite sure where to begin? This introductory course gives you a safe and inspiring start. Open to everyone and available all the time.
Online Course: Intercultural Communication
Do you want to feel more confident in international contexts? This course gives you the opportunity to learn how to communicate across cultures and understand the perspectives behind everyday interactions. The course is asynchronous and open to all students and staff throughout the year.
Online Course Female Empowerment in Academia
Build your expertise in gender inequality and equality in research. No prior knowledge is required. Complete the course at your own pace before 15 June 2026.

What and who is EDUC?
European Digital UniverCity (EDUC) is a European university alliance with eight members in seven countries. European university alliances are the EU's flagship for bringing the academic community in Europe closer together and solving major societal challenges.
In the alliance, we collaborate, among other things, on a common digital campus, digital study programs, flexible international opportunities for students and staff and skills development for young researchers and staff.
In addition to USN, EDUC consists of these universities:

- University of Rennes, France
- University of Paris-Nanterre, France
- Masaryk University, Czech Republic
- University of Cagliari, Italy
- University Jaume I, Spain
- University of Pécs, Hungary
Together, the alliance has around 200,000 students and 31,000 employees.
