Improve your foreign language skills with EDUC

We offer language courses in Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, and Spanish. You can also join a language tandem with another student.

Digital language courses

Level up with one of our free and digital courses. This is the perfect warm-up before going on an exchange.

Find the language course that's right for you in the EDUC course catalog: EDUC Alliance - Course Catalogue

The course catalog is continuously updated with new offers, so please check back if you don't find what you're after.

Digital language tandem

This is an informal way to learn and practice foreign languages.

Once you sign up by choosing the preferred EDUC-language you would like to improve, we connect you with another student that fits your profile to speak the foreign language of preference together.

Perhaps you can get to know a student who is going on an exchange to the same place as you, or you can keep up your English skills when you get home?

The deadline for the digital language tandem has passed. Check back in December for the next opportunity. Learn more about the E-tandem Language Programme (courses.educalliance.eu).

  • Duration: 5 months
  • You and your partner(s) decide when it fits best to meet

Remember: You have to have at least a B1-level in English + your language of choice)

What is a B1-level in language?

The B1 level in language learning is part of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is a widely recognized standard for assessing language proficiency.

At the B1 level, learners are considered to be at the "intermediate" stage.

Overall, at the B1 level, you can communicate in a basic yet effective way, express opinions, and describe experiences, and you can manage everyday situations in the language quite effectively.

Digital language café

Get to know students from other EDUC-universities and practice your German skills. The language café will start up again towards the end of the spring semester.
