Annette Bischoff

Annette is our Head of Centre. She is a former Head of Department at USN and has carried out research within the fields of humans’ relationships with nature, outdoor recreation, sustainability, quality of life and pedagogics.

Ragne Hvidsten

Project Adviser

Ragne Hvidsten

Ragne is employed as a Project Adviser and carries out strategic, technical and administrative tasks linked to the establishment, development and coordination of the Centre. She is a former communications adviser and Project Manager at USN’s Communications Department, and also administered USN’s campus merger process.

Eilin Holtan Torgersen

Social anthropologist

Eilin is a social anthropologist with research interests in local knowledge about living in volatile nature environments in the Pacific region. Specifically, she focuses on peoples' management of life on Kilauea volcano in Hawai'i. She has formerly worked as a research adviser at USN’s Section for Research and Innovation.

Lærke Søndergaard Stewart

Biologist

Lærke Søndergaard Stewart

Lærke is a vegetation ecologist with a special interest for Arctic vegetation and research dissemination. In addition to her work for the Centre, she also teaches botanical ecology.
