Why study Business and Information Systems?

Do you want to learn about current hot topics in contemporary business and information systems? We offer a set of modules to give you the opportunity to acquire skills relevant for the job market. In Data Analytics, you learn the basics of machine learning and data mining, and do a semester project on analytics within a topic of your own choice. In Introduction to Innovation Management you will be taught the current practices of innovation, and how to properly manage innovation projects. In Entrepreneurship in practice, you receive practical training on how to develop your own business idea and verify if and how the idea can be realized.

But it gets even better: The course "Scientific Project Assignment" gives you the opportunity to follow your own interests and conduct an individual project under guidance of faculty members. You can do research, which will help you to prepare for graduate studies, or you can learn new skills, such as developing a concept or pilot for new software.

If you have questions, we are happy to set up a meeting to discuss further details.

Why study at USN campus Vestfold?

At USN campus Vestfold you are in the heart of Scandinavian Viking history, and from campus you can walk amongst old grave mounds and follow the Viking trail along the coast. If you prefer a more modern lifestyle, the nearby city of Tønsberg has vibrant nightlife. In summer and spring, the coastline offers great experiences with its archipelago of small islands, and in winter cross-country or downhill skiing is just a short drive away. Vestfold has good public transport, and the capital is just an hour's train ride away.

On campus you will find modern teaching facilities, cafes, a large library with workplaces and you have access to student housing, training facilities and swimming pool.
