Why study Norwegian?
Norwegian studies will enable you to read and understand Norwegian and Scandinavian languages and literature.
What you will learn
Increase your competence in communication and language. Grammar, historical changes and variations of the Norwegian language are central elements of this study.
In the literature sections, we read and analyse novels, poems and other types of texts. You gain insight into some of the key Nordic writers, various literary genres and text analysis.
What kind of job will you get?
A one-year study programme in Norwegian is relevant for work in schools. Together with a master's degree and PPU, it provides teaching competence for Years 8-13 in primary and lower secondary school.
The programme is also relevant for work, for example, within:
- media and publishing,
- communication and information work.
