If you have applied for several studies via USN-SøknadsWeb (local admission), you must state which study you want justification for. If you have applied via coordinated admissions, this is not necessary.

After receiving an explanation of the grounds for rejection/waitlisting, you have three weeks to consider whether or not you’d like to start an appeal process. The deadline for starting the process is three weeks from the date on which you received the explanation.
