The Trimius Student Sports Club offers a wide range of sports and activities, contributing to both physical health and social fellowship. Kongsberg’s nature offers opportunities for hikes all year round, and the ski centre offers student discounts on lift passes.

Culture, café life and evening activities
The town centre offers a variety of cafés, restaurants and shops. In the evenings, students gather at the student pub Louis, which offers quizzes, themed parties and competitions. Energimølla offers concerts and cultural events, with opportunities for voluntary participation.

Central location and modern campus
Campus Kongsberg is located in the Krona Knowledge and Culture Building, right in the centre. With around 1,350 students and proximity to technology companies, the town is an attractive study destination. The train connection to Oslo takes about an hour and a half.

Location: Campus Kongsberg is located inside the knowledge and culture building Krona, which is situated in the centre of Kongsberg. Kongsberg is home to several of Norway’s leading technology companies within the weapons industry, air and shipping industries, as well as the oil and gas industry. It is also here that Norway’s largest jazz festival is held every summer. Just under 28,000 people live in Kongsberg municipality.
