NFR’s scholarship base gives you a brief presentation of mobility grants from the Research Council or other agencies. You get short information about who can apply, what to apply for and how much support you can receive.
- If the bilateral agreement between the two institutions includes mobility at PhD level, PhD students may use the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Program. This will apply to mobility for a minimum of 3 months. If you are going on a shorter stay, you have the possibility to use the Erasmus+ Teacher Mobility Program, which entails at least 8 hours of teaching a week at the partner institution. We refer you to our intranet for application procedures.
- Marie Curie - Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) are wage and mobility funds for researchers who want to promote their career with a stay abroad. MSCA is open to all disciplines, has no thematic priorities and requires mobility.
- The organizations Fulbright and NORAM offer scholarships to researchers, PhD and master students who pursue a longer stay abroad at a North American institution. Note that the application deadlines are in the autumn semester the year before you leave so you need to plan ahead.
- In "Legathåndboken" you will find an overview of a number of opportunities for scholarships and scholarships for study abroad. For example, search for international, education, research or special scholarships / legends related to your home location. Any tuition fees must be paid by the student himself/herself. This guide is only in Norwegian.
