We will have our traditional Christmas Party with Bacalao afterwards from 17:00-20:00. Binding registration due to food order.

Topic for the Study Group is:

How to scale up for production/manufacturing? How can systems engineering and systems thinking help manufacturing?

Abstract:

Manufacturers are at a critical juncture where scaling up production is essential to meet rising consumer demands and growing market needs without delays. Overcoming interoperability challenges in digital tools is key to achieving seamless integration and scalability. In an increasingly dynamic and competitive landscape, scaling up is crucial for reducing time-to-market and  lowering production costs through larger output.

Questions of interest for Systems Engineers are:

  • How can your organization apply Systems Engineering to utilize existing technologies and scale up without disrupting workflows
  • What are the biggest risks in scaling production, and how can systems thinking address them?

Speakers

  1. Nina Arndal, KDA

  2. Dr. Alessia Napoleone, TU Delft NL

  3. Daryl Powell, Professor, USN
