Rebel Light Lumoconcept Workshops

LumoConcept presents:
Authentic Lighting - Shedding light on biophilic design

“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” — Carl Gustav Jung

Light is more than just a tool; it’s an experience. In today’s design world, understanding the emotional impact of light is essential for creating spaces that feel authentic and alive. Spaces that spark a desire to stay, explore and come back.

Join us for Authentic Lighting, a workshop with the creative masterminds at Lumoconcept, where we explore the deep connection between biophilic design and lighting.

You’ll discover:
* How to use light to reflect history, heritage, and modern needs.
* Real-world examples of custom lighting solutions that bring out a space’s unique identity.
* The balance between physical and non-physical lighting and its effect on human experience.

This workshop invites you to think beyond technical details and engage with light and materials as a powerful medium for creating meaningful, immersive spaces.

Let’s design for authentic lighting that connects people, places, and emotions!

Workshop leaders: Edina Bugár Jánosi András Balázs Édes

Rebel Light Stoane Workshops

Before & after: Take a Stoane Lighting product through remanufacturing

A circular economy apply zero waste principles. To achieve this we need to redesign both our hardware and our brainware, we must think new in order to make use of old.

But how do we design for renewing? And when does remanufacture make sense? How does it affect environmental data and most importantly, is it environmentally correct to renew and reuse?

In this workshop you get to work alongside one of the industry leaders in circular lighting and environmental metrics, Stoane Lighting, to improve your understanding of data and sustainability metrics, and how they apply to the practical reality that is our products and their application.

In this workshop you get to:

* Learn how to apply the TM65 assessment to a remanufacture Vs a new manufacture
* Disassemble and Remanufacture a Stoane Lighting product!
* Compare EPD and TM65 data to understand the differences in measurable results

Workshop leaders:
Irene Mazzei, PhD, Sustainability lead, Stoane Lighting
Ruairidh M. Head of Specification Support, Stoane Lighting
