Service innovation for person-oriented health care services is more likely to be successful when organized as co-creation processes. Co-ceation involves both employees, users and external actors like technology developers, volunteer organizations and other stakeholders. In sum, this is a complex work situation for employees in the service, where the change manager plays an important part. The interaction between the actors and the arenas for interdisciplinary negotiations are in focus in our research.
Crucial questions in our research – and in the centre’s cooperation with municipalities, hospitals, private businesses, volunteer organizations and other stakeholders are:
- What are the factors for successful innovation in specific areas?
- What does a good plan for change management look like?
- How to organize for successful implementation and use of health technology and an organizational culture for learning across professions and organizations?
- What can we learn from resistance to technology and digitalization inn health, and how can resistance be met?
- How are co-creation processes designed and performed?
