Competences
My research interests are in the field of business, management, specifically in sustainability, innovation, climate change, tourism and hospitality. I am empirically oriented and have a particular focus on quantitative methods, particularly microeconometric methods. The data I prefer to use for the empirical analysis are company, establishment, personal, and transaction data (e.g. booking system) and regional data. My favourite software programme is STATA, which I have been using since 1996 (before that TSP). The demand for quantitative analysis is growing. We live in an age of increasing availability and supply of data and information.
