More on EDUC Internship
The EDUC Internship programme is not just an opportunity for students but also for institutions, companies, non-profit organisations, and more. EDUC universities offer internships lasting up to six months at one of the partner universities or their affiliated organisations.
Hosting an EDUC intern comes with numerous advantages. One key benefit is access to international talent, providing the chance to connect with highly motivated students with diverse skills and cultural backgrounds from a wide range of disciplines.
Collaborating with EDUC is an excellent way for organisations and university departments to increase their visibility both locally and internationally while strengthening their reputation as leaders in education and talent development.
Welcoming international students as interns allows organisations to benefit from the latest academic knowledge and innovative ideas, helping them stay updated and competitive in today’s fast-changing landscape.
Moreover, interacting with students and staff from different universities and cultures can lead to the establishment of new strategic partnerships and future collaboration opportunities. This partnership directly contributes to the practical training of future professionals, fostering a strong talent pipeline for the sector.

Local authorities and local communities
The scope of the alliance’s connections will vary. EDUC takes into account the five missions of the EU Horizon Europa programe (europa.eu) and the Smart Specialisation-strategies (S3) (europa.eu).
This means that EDUC collaborations established to participate in EU project calls will include local authorities and businesses to better address local needs.
Local businesses and industry partners
The EDUC universities aim to build relationships with local enterprises to collaborate on research, create internship opportunities, and provide employment prospects for students joining EDUC.
Our partners will have the chance to discover young talent with fresh perspectives to address technological and business challenges, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified future employees with a broad global outlook and multicultural experience.
Connection to other European projects
The implementation of open APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for third-party applications will allow reliable third parties to link their digital services/applications to the EDUC portal and make use of the data that the EDUC alliance has agreed to make available.
The EDUC activities aimed at creating a service-based digital infrastructure also include interaction with other European digital projects. These projects aim to develop a central European hub for blended and online learning, digital services related to mobility, and overarching infrastructure initiatives.
