How to apply

Step 1 (From 1 June and 1 October)

Apply for Study Rights.

You must apply for study rights in Søknadsweb before given the rights to choose subjects.

The application for study rights is open from June 1 to the end of August (fall semester) and from October 1 to the end of January (spring semester).

  1. You need to log in to Søknadsweb.

  2. Under “New application” - “Single subjects - “Single undergraduate subjects open to EU/EEA”, you will find application code 9510

  3. click “add.”

You must upload your high school diploma and transcript, higher education and your language documents. For applicants with foreign education, the requirements are specified in the GSU-List.

Step 2 (From 1 August and 1 December)

Activate your student account.

Before you can register for available subjects, you must activate your student account.

Step 3 (From 1 August and 1 December)

Register for available subjects.

Once you have been granted study rights at USN, you must register for teaching and exams in Studentweb. You can do this from August 1 (fall semester) and December 1 (spring semester) as part of the semester registration. Subject registration operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadline for registering is September 1 (fall semester) and February 1 (spring semester).

Note! If you applied for study rights after August 1/December 1, you must be transferred from applicant to student before you can access Studentweb. This means you must have received the welcome email from USN before gaining access to Studentweb and selecting subjects.

Step 4 (From 1 August and 1 December)

Pay the semester fee.

You must pay your semester fee by 1 September (fall) or 1 February (spring).
