This course is designed to meet the Bridge Resource Management requirements detailed in Table A-III/II/I of the 2010 Manila amendments to the STCW Convention and Code.

We will teach you...
The course will provide opportunities for delegates to consider their role in the working environment and offer a range of tools and techniques improving their performance in non-technical skills. Extensive use of advanced Kongsberg simulators gives the delegates opportunities to practise and demonstrate the bridge resource management skills that are developed throughout the course.
Target group
This course complies with the requirements set by IMO´s STCW code and applies to all bridge officers and is mandatory for the certificates beyond 2017.
Course relevance
In accordance with the 1978 STCW convention with amendments, A-II/1, A-II/2, A-III/1, A-III/2, A-III/6, A-VIII/1, and A-VIII/2 in addition to the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) regulation FOR 2011-12-22 No 1523: Regulations on qualifications and certificates for seafarers and subject plan of NMA dated 29.01.2015.
The course provider and the course facilities are in compliance with STCW 1978 with amendments, A-I/6, A-I/8 and A-I/12.

Teaching methods
Learning is developed through lecturing, presentations, group tasks and dialogues, case studies, and scenarios in the bridge and engine room simulators.
Equipment
The simulator exercises are carried out on state of the art Kongsberg Simulators.

Prerequisites
Participants must have valid certificate for deck officers in accordance with STCW Regulation II/I - II/2 - II/3 Deck.

6 -10 persons, deck officers.
The course will be held with a minimum of 6 participants
Duration
4 days, Monday 10:00- 18:00. Tuesday-Wednesday 08:00 - 18:00. Thursday 8:00-15:30
Document of evidence
Document of evidence is awarded to the participant on the last day of the course, provided the course has been successfully completed.
Price
The price per participant is NOK 21.000,-.This includes course material, lunch, coffee and mineral water during the course.
Cancellation
Registration is binding. Cancellation deadline is 10 working days before the course starts.
Cancellation 5-10 business days before the course starts will be charged with 50% of the course fee.
If cancellation is received later than 5 working days before the course starts, participants will be charged 100% course fee.
The course is subject to cancellation if illness, too few participants or force majeure occur.
