What is Subsea Production Systems Architecture?
The course focuses on the importance of field trade-offs in concepts, systems, and field-layout modularization. This course should give the participants a holistic view of customer needs, requirements, and regional preferences for Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
Through the course, you will get an introduction to field development including oil and gas reservoirs, drilling, production, intervention, and maintenance.
The course is highly applicable for Engineers working in energy and subsea systems such as Systems engineers, Subsea engineers, mechanical engineers, petroleum engineers, Engineering managers, tender managers, and project managers.
Completing the course, the student shall be capable to participate in a team preparing the architecture of a SPS.

- Week 39, 23.09.24 - 27.09.24, from 08:40 to 16:30
Instruction
The course is organized as intensive one-week course with 5 days of lectures and work in groups. Masterstudents and others taking courses for credit will in addition work on a written assignment that is due 10 weeks after the end of the course week. A completed course with approved written assignment will give 7.5 study points.
Prices
The price for attending the course is NOK 25.000,- and includes supervision and grading of the written assignment.

We accept registrations also after the deadline, provided there are available seats. Each course has a limited number of seats, so please sign up early. We reserve the right to cancel courses with too low participation.
Pre requisites
Basic knowledge and an interest in Oil & Gas.
Admission requirements
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or exact sciences, or similar.
A bachelor’s degree in natural science or technology provided that it contains at least 20 ECTS mathematics and/or statistics or physics.
You must also fulfill the English requirements.
