Sunday, August 11th
- 12.00-15.00 Open campus. Program administrators, professional staff, student welfare organization, IT-support, librarians, student assistants and buddies will be there to answer questions and show new students around the university. Family and friends are also welcome. Free waffles and coffee for everyone.
Monday, August 12th
- 09.00-10.00: Semester start for new students. (Location: Cinema on the 2nd floor)
- 10.00-1200: Information about the library, stundet housing (SSN), campus, stundet democracy and USN buddy program.
- 12.00: Buddy programme
Tuesday, August 13th
- 09.15-13.00: Semester start regular classroom teaching for ALL students. Students follow the time schedule for their study programme.
- 13.00: Official opening of the academic year by Rector Petter Aasen and a mini concert with the artist iris. For all students and employees.
- 14.00: Buddy programme (immediately after the opening)
Wednesday, August 14th
- 09.15-15.00: Students follow the time schedule for their study programme

Buddy Programme
The buddy week in Kongsberg is a meeting place for new students where they can get to know the city, each other and meet existing students in Kongsberg. During the week there will be a variety of activities and events. There will be something for everyone, whether you like to stay up all night or take it a little more easy. We wish all new students in Kongsberg welcome!
