Where are we on the Digital Journey?

Most companies struggle on their digital journey. There are islands of automation with important information lost in handover. This is a significant problem to more or less all companies. Despite four decades on this digitalization journey, it is still highly scattered and complicated by huge legacy problems. Dassault suggests fully integrated environments, a solution that no one has yet achieved.

Questions of interest for Systems Engineers are:

• What should be the architecture of this digitalization?
• How to implement the digital journey and digital engineering?
• Who is «owning» the digital journey?
