Mohsen Toorani is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), Campus Kongsberg. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of IACR. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Security from the University of Bergen and has a background in Secure Communications (M.Sc.) and Communications Engineering (B.Sc.). He joined USN in 2021 after working as a postdoctoral researcher in Information Security at Lund University (2019-2021) and as a postdoctoral researcher in Cryptography at the University of Bergen and Simula@UiB (2016-2019). He is responsible for several master's and Ph.D. courses in cybersecurity and cryptography at USN. Additionally, he is involved in various research projects, editorial activities, conference organization, and institutional services.
