Mohsen Toorani is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), Campus Kongsberg. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of IACR. He holds a PhD in Information Security from the University of Bergen, and also has an MSc in Secure Communications and a BSc in Communications Engineering. He has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Information Security at Lund University (2019–2021) and as a postdoctoral researcher in Cryptography at the University of Bergen and Simula@UiB (2016–2019). At USN, he is responsible for several master's- and PhD-level courses in cybersecurity and cryptography. He is also involved in research projects, editorial activities, conference organisation, and institutional service.
