It detects network attacks and computer breaches and gives you the insights and tools you need to end events quickly.
Personal data
In conjuction with automatic security checks, a number of personal data about the users are collected. Only a small group of IT employees with security responsibilities have access, and they follow clear routines that are in line with the GDPR rules.
The information is only used in security incidents, and no one other than the security group has access. Only information related to security is of interest. Access will be notified to the person concerned.
More vulnerable in the summer
The risk of computer attacks can be higher in the summer, because we do not follow our usual routines. It is also known that some have tried to exploit the corona period with a lot of home office for computer crime. USN has been subjected to such attempts.
Be aware
Good computer security depends on two things: up-to-date software and observant users. Even the best programs fail to detect everything. As a computer user, you must be aware that you may be exposed to attempted fraud or computer attacks, and have some knowledge of how such attempts usually take place. Then you can prevent the attack from having consequences.
Program is blocked
If you have a program that has been blocked (recognized by a message in the bottom right corner of the screen), you must notify it-support@usn.no, the name of the program and which folder it is in helps us to make exceptions quickly and your program will work again.
