The 21st IEEE Annual System of Systems Engineering (SoSE) Conference 2026

Join researchers, professionals, and industry leaders from around the world for the 2026 System of Systems Engineering Conference (SoSE), taking place at USN campus Kongsberg. The vibrant Kongsberg Jazz Festival (2.-5. july) will begin right after the closing of the SoSE2026 conference.

About the Event

The theme of this year's conference is The World as Systems of Systems. It marks the 20th anniversary of three major milestones:

• The IEEE System of Systems Engineering Conference
• The Industry Master’s Program in Systems Engineering at USN
• The Kongsberg Systems Engineering Event (KSEE)

This year’s edition will be hosted at campus Kongsberg (KRONA building), a 13-minute walk from Hotel 1624, which offers a special rate for conference guests.

In addition to a rich technical program, you’ll enjoy the unique opportunity to explore Kongsberg’s Silver Mines, and take in world-class music during the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, which begins right after the closing of the conference.

We are collaborating with the University of Twente and the Mälardalen University in organizing SoSE2026 at USN, Kongsberg.
