Programme
Depending on the development of the pandemic, we will see opportunities to arrange PhD courses and the conference online.
The course consists of four days:
Day 1: Introduction to CA, part 1: Why CA matters?, led by Elizabeth Stokoe (Tuesday, 5th April)
Day 2: Introduction to CA, part 2: ELAN transcription workshop, led by Emily Hofstetter and Rein Ove Sikveland (Wednesday 6th April)
Day 3: Data sessions and student presentations, led by Elizabeth Stokoe, Emily Hofstetter, Rein Ove Sikveland and Karianne Skovholt (Thursday 7th April)
Day 4: One-day conversation analysis conference, Conversation as a tool for professional practice (CAPP), with keynote speakers (Friday 8th April).

Travel and accommodation
The nearest airport is Torp Sandefjord airport. It is positioned with a 20 minutes distance from Tønsberg. Alternatively, you may fly to Oslo Airport Gardemoen and go by train from Oslo airport station to Tønsberg. The train journey takes about 2 hours. We recommend Quality Hotel Tønsberg.
