Partner Days
USN Partner Days is a shorter version of Erasmus+ Staff Week, and this year it was aimed at international relations office staff members from partner institutions.
For a full overview of staff weeks at other universitites and more insight to what a staff week is, please visit the IMOTION webpage.
Exploring Opportunities
The aim of the event is to get together to learn and share from each other’s experiences, working in international offices across Europe.
It was also an opportunity to learn more about USN, our staff, activities and international programmes and projects.
USN has a variety of programmes and academic fields, and several of our partners represented at the seminar send and receive students at a various range of programmes.
We were lucky to have students represented at the Partner Days this time around too, with our opening choir. These were students from a one year study in music, where they study musicology, singing, bands, concerts and music production.
Laughter
To meet and share knowledge about international student mobility is useful and gives insights to own work, as well as establishing stronger partnerships. Getting to know each other is crucial in creating better institutional collaborations and smoother administration of student mobility.
Throughout the seminar the laugher grew louder. Through socializing, eating together, swimming in the Porsgrunn river and learning from the presenters together, the seminar worked as speed friending and we got to know each other quite well in only two days.
