Currently, the Nordic countries are known across the world for their high levels of basic education. This project takes a close look at to what extent these high levels can be explained on the basis of educational resources and their development over time.
The project will also provide an excellent foundation for comparing schools and education systems in the Nordic countries, and for comparing schools in the Nordic countries with those in other countries. The project aims to issue a number of publications in domestic and international periodicals during the next four years.
