In FLOWmulti, you work in WISEflow during the examination. The exam paper is designed with multiple-choice questions. It may also include essays, mathematics, interactive questions, answers in graph/diagram form, etc. Questions may be presented in text, audio and/or video form.
When FLOWmulti is conducted in a closed environment with Lockdown Browser, you must install Lockdown Browser before the examination. If the examination is conducted under supervision in an open environment, you must download Device Monitor. Guidance for downloading Lockdown Browser and Device Monitor can be found here (requires login),
Demo flow
We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the exam in FLOWmulti by trying the demo flow. You can find the demo flow at the bottom of your participant page in WISEflow
On the day of the examination
Log in to WISEflow, go to the course for which you are taking the examination, then click "Start participation". Follow the steps that appear on the screen. You are ready for the examination when you see a green box with the countdown clock on the screen.
The countdown clock must remain on the screen until the examination starts. You must do this so that you have enough time to get help before the start of the examination if you encounter problems. The question set will become available when the examination opens. If access to aids has been granted in the locked environment, you will find these under "External resources".
When you have completed the examination and wish to submit, do the following:
- Click on «Go to submission» in the top right corner.
- A box will appear asking whether you wish to submit; you must tick this box to continue. (If the examination is in a locked environment, the invigilator must enter their password).
- After you have ticked the box, the «submitted» button turns green. Click the button to submit.
- You will be informed that you have submitted and can return to WISEflow.
If you arrive for the examination later than 30 minutes before the start of the examination, and experience technical problems that cause you to lose time from the examination, you will not get the lost time back.
