At LIGHT [ ] matters, we are proud to be the country's only research group entirely dedicated to the diverse field of architectural lighting design, which includes both artificial and natural daylighting.

Our mission is to explore the multifaceted impacts of light across various domains including architecture, art, health, and the broader societal context, while considering environmental factors. We are dedicated to conducting pioneering research, critically analysing existing studies, and providing expert guidance to stakeholders nationwide. Our commitment extends beyond research; we actively contribute to educational initiatives within our university and collaborate with scientific institutions globally and locally.

We are committed to using evidence-based knowledge and innovative practices. Our team explores new methods and technologies. We focus on sustainable practices that respect the environment and aim to meet society’s changing needs.
