I am a Professor of Health Sciences with a Ph.D. in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences from the University of Milano and postdoctoral training in Occupational Sciences from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). My research centers on health-enhancing physical activity, human–nature interactions, and sleep-wake patterns. I have a particular interest in the use and critical evaluation of emerging technologies in health research, including virtual reality (VR), lifestyle applications, and wearable devices.
