The research group for linguistic variation and change in society and education focuses on theoretical and applied approaches to linguistic processes, both synchronic and diachronic.

What do we do?

  • Publish and present internationally and nationally
  • Collaborate with key contributors in the school and education sectors, as well as universities and university colleges both domestically and internationally
  • Disseminate knowledge about language and language research across various platforms
  • Serve as a meeting place for linguists at USN and other institutions
