If you intend to store research data beyond the project period, this must be specified in the data management plan. The data must only be stored in accordance with institutional requirements. For more information, see the guidelines and the support pages for the processing of research data.
USN aims to facilitate increased sharing of research data. Where possible, data may therefore be shared through USN’s institutional requirements for the archiving and sharing of research data. If, for reasons related to data protection or research ethics, it is not possible to share raw data, you should consider sharing metadata. Metadata describes the type of data and how it was collected. This allows other researchers to obtain information about the dataset and contact the appropriate party to request access.
