Amendments and Extension of Research Projects – Quality System for Health Research

A research project may often undergo significant amendments or be extended. Significant amendments may include major changes to the study population, methodology, or project aims.

Reporting requirements

Amendments must be reported internally to a project head’s immediate supervisor in accordance with the rules concerning institutional anchoring. Approval from Sikt and REK  must also be obtained.
