Magnus Stivi is an Associate Professor in photography and film studies at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), where he is also Deputy Head of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts Education. He has teaching experience from several institutions including NTNU, OsloMet, Kristiania and Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology, combining aesthetic subjects with digital media culture and multimodal communication, and conducts research on visual literacy and GenAI in art and design education.
