Recover files and folders in OneDrive

Deleted items in OneDrive will be available for up to 90 days back in time, from the time it was deleted to the "first phase Recycle Bin". If the item is deleted from the 'first-stage bin', the item will be available in the 'second-stage bin' for the remaining 90 days unless the quota is exceeded, in which case the oldest items from the bin will be deleted first

Go to the OneDrive website and log in with username@usn.no and your password

Recover files and folders from first-stage Recycle Bin

1)  Click the Recycle bin in the left column.
To delete all items permanently, press 'Empty recycle bin'.

2) Confirm deletion or cancel deletion.

To recover or permanently delete individual items, select them by checking their checkboxes and pressing ‘Delete’ or ‘Restore’

Once you have checked off some items or checked off all the items, you will be given options to delete or restore selected objects.

Recover files and folders from "second-phase" recycle bin

1) Click on ‘Recycle bin’ at the bottom of the page, click on ‘secound-stage recycle bin’

2) Select the desired file and press 'restore'

Restore OneDrive to an earlier time

If many of your OneDrive files have been deleted, overwritten, damaged, or infected with malware, you can restore OneDrive to a previously desired time from the last 30 days.

1) Tap Settings -> Options, then select 'Restore OneDrive'.
2) Select a date from the drop-down list, or a custom time.
3) Use the "activity chart / feed" to review the latest activities you want to undo.
