How to install and log in to Outlook on Windows, Mac, phone and tablets.
Windows
- Download Outlook from portal.office.com
- Open Outlook and enter username@usn.no / studentnummer@usn.no
- Press Connect
- Approve the login request in the Authenticator app
- Press Done
If it asks you to sign in to Office:
- Select Sign in and enter username@usn.no / studentnummer@usn.no
Mac
- Download Outlook from portal.office.com or the App Store
- Open Outlook and choose Get Started
- Then select Sign In and log in with username@usn.no / studentnummer@usn.no
- Approve the login request in the Authenticator app
- Press Get Started
- Finally, select Add username@usn.no / studentnummer@usn.no
Phone and tablet
- Download the Microsoft Outlook app for your phone:
- Open the app
- Press Get started
- If you get your USN account as a suggestion, you can select it and press Continue, and skip steps 4-6.
- Enter username@usn.no and press Continue
- Type your password
- Approve the login request in the Authenticator app
- Activate the Outlook Device Policy by pressing Activate
