A BA in Business Administration from USN makes you sought after in both the private sector and in public and voluntary organisations and administration. With us, 85% of students are employed within three months after completing their education.

We offer you good specialisation and elective options based on your own interests, and work placements and/or study abroad are included as part of the education. The programme also prepares you well for further studies at the master's level both in Norway and abroad.

The bachelor's degree in Business Administration at USN Business School is accredited by EFMD, the European accreditation body for business schools. Work placement/internship and contact with working life

We have close cooperation with the business community. Representatives from the workforce are invited as guest lecturers, and students are invited to company visits, breakfast meetings, seminars and conferences together with the business community in the region. Here you can meet future employers, build networks and find clients for tasks to be completed during your studies.

You also have the opportunity to get a mentor through the USN Business School's mentor programme.

In addition, you can choose to take an internship (work placement during your education).

Internship

An internship in a company or organisation is offered as an option during the 5th or 6th semester of the programme.

Mentor programme

The mentor programme is an opportunity for students in their 2nd and 3rd year. The mentor acts as a discussion partner, network builder, inspirer and adviser in the student's choice of career path or further studies. Mentors are recruited from private, public and voluntary sectors.

What you learn in the bachelor's degree in Business Administration 

The first two years of the programme consist of a range of fundamental economic and administrative subjects that provide you with expertise in:

In the final year of study, you have several elective options based on your own interests. 

In the 5th semester, you can choose:

• Elective subject package at USN
• Study abroad
• Take an internship/work placement in a Norwegian or foreign company

In the 6th semester, you can choose to specialise in the areas that especially interest you. Our campuses offer different specialisation options. Contact the study advisor at each campus if you have questions about your options.

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration qualifies you for admission to a range of master's programmes in Norway and abroad.  At USN, the following master's programmes may be relevant:
