Janne Dugstad started working in Buskerud university college in 1994 and was for many years Head of Department and Dean of Optometry and Visual Science. She has since 2006 been central to the college's commitment to health innovation in the Drammen Region and has during this period been Chairman of the incubator DRIV AS (SIVA funding), of the arenaproject Arena Health Innovation (Innovation Norway funding) and later of the Arena Health - Research and Innovation. She was the Director of the Centre Health and Technology in 2012-2022. She is currently PL and PI of the "CoTecH - Co-created Health Technology" project (2022-2028).

Projects:
Have worked with reduced vision and hearing in the elderly and in people with intellectual disabilities. In recent years, projects have included healthinnovation and the co-creation and implementation of welfare (health) technology, service design, and Lean municipal health- and care services.
