Teaching Sustainability Management and a masters course in Sustainable Finance. Supervising master students, currently supervising one on Biodiversity Finance in the Amazon. Niklas supervised a thesis on the impact of Renewable Energy Certificates on Solar PV in Ghana that got an A mark in 2024.

Niklas research interests include Socially Responsible Investment and Sustainable Investments.
This includes areas of climate change and human rights and their link to Finance and Investments. Specifically how institutional investors decarbonise their portfolios.
He is also active in the Fairtrade work of USN and is on the Fairtrade steering Committee.
Niklas also has some competence and experience of sustainability reporting.
