Welcome to Partner Days 2026 in June 

 

This year, we’re delighted to welcome you to our campus in Drammen, located in the heart of the city with walking distance to the train station, hotels and the city life.

The event will feature two key focus areas tailored to different target groups:  

1. Student Exchange Exploring innovative ways to promote study abroad and exchange opportunities for outbound students. How to get more students?
2. Project Management in International Relations: Strengthening collaboration and fostering impactful project partnerships.  

Join us for an inspiring few days of networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration in a beautiful setting. We can’t wait to see you there!

Monday, 1 June

18:45 Meet up point in the lobby of the hotel River Station

We walk together to Kometen restaurant.

13:45 - 14:15   Erasmus+ - introduction to the new programme period 2028-2034 by Vidar Pedersen, Director of European Educational Cooperation, Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills.

14:15 -  15:10  Inclusive Mobility in Higher Education

Inclusion in higher education: Experiences and Expectations - Žaneta Šulíková (Masaryk University) og Dr. Tószegi Zsófia Júlia (University of Pecs)

15.15-16.00: New Erasmus era, Panel discussion

18:00 Trip to Spiralen - A lovely vantage/view point of the city. Taxi will be booked for the group.

We will split into two focus areas:

1. Focus on Promoting Student Exchange
2.Focus on Project Management.

We will go through following:
 

  • Introduction by USN
  • Best practices
  • Group work

    The goal of the group work is to find a solution together to a problem or challenge with focus on Student Recruitment for Exchange or Project Management.

Thursday, 4 June *

We are also opening up for an extended visit to campus Vestfold on the 4th of June were you can arrange meetings with the International Relations Office or with staff from the study programmes. 

If you plan to visit Campus Vestfold, we recommend you to book a stay at one of Tønsberg’s hotels from the 3rd to the 4th of June.

Our program will be as follows:
 

  • 09.00: Welcome to by the main entrance
  • 09.10-10.00: Campus tour including a visit to the student campus dorms
  • 10.15-11.30: Information on English-taught programs and courses at Campus Vestfold
  • 11.30-12.30: Lunch
  • 12.30-14.00: Meeting with relevant faculty/IRO staff

 

Registration details
 

  • We have a registration fee of 700 NOK, which includes all the meals in the program. You will need to cover your own travel and accommodation expenses. Note that registration is binding and will not be refunded.
  • There is a limit of two participants per institution. 
  • We encourage our partners to use Erasmus+ staff mobility funds available at their home institutions to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
  • USN Partner Days is open to staff from International Relations Offices and Erasmus Offices who are involved in or interested in developing their international activities.

Accommodation


Rooms have been reserved at Quality Hotel River Station which is conveniently located adjacent to the train station and within 10 minutes walking distance to Campus Drammen. Follow this link in order to book a room.

Single rooms: 1,395 NOK per night
Double rooms: 1,595 NOK per night

The price includes breakfast, and rooms have been reserved for the nights of June 1st-3rd. The rooms are available until April 20th.
